Feet, feet, feet

Figure study, charcoal on Fabriano Roma

A new figure study, which in the most part I am pleased with. It’s not without its problems, and with more time I would have resolved (or tried to) the areas that are not quite right. Again, I left the feet until the end and didn’t finish them, which is a shame.

I love the pose and general feel to the piece though, and do enjoy working on grey paper and the opportunities for playing with light that it provides.
