Here’s a portrait drawing from last week which I am really pleased with. My alternative title for it is ‘The Scholar’, because Caleb is a very bright and engaging young student. My hope is that it is this idea of him that comes through in this portrait.

I like your portrait of Caleb, and also enjoyed reading your reflections and critique of your own work in October. It’s all the more interesting and instructive having seen some of it in the making.

Thanks for visiting Ken. I hope that by recording my own progress I can be of help to others on the same path. Putting into words what I have been thinking about during the making of a drawing or painting certainly helps me to focus on my own development. I recommend it.
